Blue Sky Training is ran by Simon Brown and is based in Lincolnshire. Simon has over seventeen years experience in the health and social care setting working in and managing services within the Older People, Learning Disability and Mental Health fields.

As well as an experienced practitioner and manager Simon is also an experienced Training Advisor working for major companies within England, Scotland and Wales including supported living, day provision, specialist college, independent hospital, residential and nursing home settings and an experienced mentor of student nurses.

Qualified to the  Crisis Prevention Institute Certified Instructors Level in De-escalation and Breakaway Techniques, the CIEH Advanced Level in the  Management of Health and Safety, NVQ level 5 in Management, an experienced NVQ assessor, Registered Managers Award, NVQ Level 4 in Care, qualified person centred planning facilitator, Qualified Manual Handling Instructor for People and Loads and holds the CIEH Professional Trainers Award.

Now working as a freelance trainer the ethos of Blue Sky training is training with a fresh approach, making training enjoyable for all, an experience not a challenge, current and competitive.

All training is certified with bullet areas identified for ease of cross referencing in NVQ's, sessions can also be specifically designed around the individual service.

We are also able to offer a free training tracking facility to our customers enabling us to contact you prior to renewal dates arrive to ensure you staff training never expires and falls short of legislation.
